Why should you read Khaled Hosseini?

Khaled Hosseini has written 3 novels. ‘The kite runner’, ‘A thousand splendid suns’, ‘And the mountains echoed’. All of them are best sellers.
It seems impossible to write something that can satisfy a novice and a mature reader both. Khaled has done that impossible.

I read his And the mountains echoed first.
The book is deep in terms of the content and creates an impact on the mind.
There is seamless transition from one country to other and from one generation to other.
Read it for his simple yet refined style of writing but foremost for the story itself.

Story of A thousand splendid suns is dreary.
It reveals the state of women in Afghanistan.
While I was realizing their pathetic, inhuman condition in a fabulously molded story, a point of sadness, frustration and helplessness took over me. But of course I continued reading because I was hypnotized by his style and was curious about the story.

I am yet to read to The Kite runner.

Both the books have no single point of boredom  because firstly the story base is fantastic and then there are plot twists changing the entire dimensions of the story. And to top it all we have his refined expressions which make his books a must read.
His books have an intense hangover. It took me 1 full day to get back to my previous life.
You are part of the book when you read it and then … the book is a part of you.
I strongly recommend this book for everyone because when you start reading , you will  look forward for the day just because u have Khaled’s book to indulge in.
